Security, privacy and digital sovereignty
Security forms the foundation of Sparkle Cloud. The platform is built on Laravel, one of the most widely used and proven enterprise frameworks in the world. Laravel provides standard security mechanisms such as protection against SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), secure authentication, extensive access control, and encryption of sensitive data. By using modern development standards, regular security updates, and a carefully managed development process, the platform is continuously protected against current threats.
In addition, privacy is central to the architecture of Sparkle Cloud. Organizations retain full control over their business data, customer information, and documents. All data is stored separately and used solely for providing services to the customer. Thanks to the integrated design of the platform, there are fewer external integrations, fewer data flows between different systems, and therefore fewer potential security risks than in traditional software landscapes consisting of multiple applications.
Digital sovereignty means that organizations determine for themselves where their data is stored and processed. Sparkle Cloud supports various hosting and storage options, allowing customers to choose storage within the Netherlands, Europe, or another desired region, depending on their compliance, privacy, and business requirements. This enables organizations to retain control over their data and comply with internal policies, GDPR guidelines, and sector-specific regulations. With Sparkle Cloud, companies choose a secure, transparent, and future-proof platform where control over data and digital independence come first.
